Cap de Formentor

Cap de Formentor is the northernmost point of Mallorca, often referred to as the ‘Meeting Point of the Winds’. It's famous for its dramatic cliffs, lighthouse, and panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Pollença

Pollença is an ancient town that embodies Mallorcan tradition and history. With its narrow cobbled streets, historic Plaça Major, and the iconic 365 Calvari Steps leading to a hilltop chapel with panoramic views, Pollença provides a rich cultural exploration.

Exquisite Pedaling Paradise

Mallorca is an ideal locale for cycling tours. The island boasts a Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and warm, sun-filled summers. Throughout the cycling season, from late spring to early autumn, expect pleasant temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C. The peak summer months can be warmer, especially in inland regions, with temperatures occasionally reaching between 25°C and 35°C.

This inviting weather ensures delightful rides, allowing you to delve into the splendid beauty of Mallorca's diverse landscapes. This makes bicycle tours in Mallorca a joy. And of course, a tour in Mallorca is incomplete without savoring its unique cuisine. From savory tapas to fresh seafood, Mallorcan gastronomy is a rich blend of flavors and traditions.

On your travels, you'll be enticed to try iconic dishes like tumbet, ensaimada, or sobrasada, and a variety of regional specialties. Frequently Asked Questions

Self-guided bike expeditions offer a customizable and adaptable approach to cycling holidays, enabling you to explore at your own pace and alter your itinerary or path as needed. Our team handles every nuance, from lodging and meticulous planning to GPS navigation and continuous support, ensuring a tranquil and engrossing journey that affords autonomy, uniqueness, and genuine cultural interactions.

Our tours are segmented into three levels of difficulty: Leisurely, Moderate, and Challenging. The classification is based on the typical day on tour, although there might be variations in difficulty throughout the journey.

Leisurely tours are designed for those desiring a relaxed adventure through Mallorca's breathtaking scenery, without the requirement of covering long distances or maneuvering through tough terrains. These excursions generally cover 30-50 km daily, with an altitude ascent of up to 500 m. This ensures plenty of opportunities to stop and immerse in the vistas, relish local cuisines and meander through charming villages and towns along the way.

Moderate bike tours cater to individuals seeking a balanced blend of scenic routes with a sprinkle of challenge. Typically covering 50-80 km daily with an altitude climb of up to 1000 m, these tours take you through enchanting landscapes and delightful villages, offering a mix of flat and rolling terrains. While offering ample moments to pause and delve deeper into the locale, they also promise a gratifying cycling workout.

Challenging bike tours are tailored for seasoned cyclists eager to push their limits. Spanning 80-120 km daily with an altitude surge of up to 2000 m, these expeditions entail navigating steep inclines and demanding terrains. Nevertheless, the awe-inspiring views make the endeavor worthwhile. Although these tours necessitate exceptional fitness and endurance, the exhilaration of accomplishment felt at the close of each day is incomparable.

We are devoted to finding the perfect match for you. We collaborate with numerous accommodation providers that meet our standards, although their availability may fluctuate, especially during peak demand seasons. Moreover, we can customize your holiday based on your preferences and budget, ensuring we pinpoint the ideal option catering to your needs.

Our tours can be adapted to any bike type, whether road, gravel, or mountain bike. We are in constant communication with you to find the optimal conditions for your cycling holidays in Mallorca.

The most versatile option is a gravel bike, even if you are coming on a road cycling holiday. It does not really affect your road performance while allowing you to take some scenic backroads that can be in a slightly worse state than the main ones. A gravel bike is usually more comfortable as well.

You can find our bespoke road cycling holidays, which are designed specifically for a road bike, maximizing speed, efficiency, and smooth performance on paved surfaces.

If you are not bringing your own bike and equipment, we can certainly arrange that for you. We have a wide selection of bikes at our disposal and we will choose the ones that best fit your tour. All we need from you is your usual bike size and any other relevant information or preferences so we can make sure you will be comfortable throughout your trip.

We advise booking your tour at your earliest convenience, especially for popular tourist locales where accommodation availability is limited. Prime options often get booked for the summer before the arrival of spring.

Catering to dietary needs can vary based on their complexity. In Mallorca, vegetarian options are generally available, but finding vegan meals might be challenging in rural areas or smaller towns. Notably, lunch stops are often at traditional eateries that may not accommodate special dietary preferences beyond their regular offerings. Keep this in mind as you plan your journey!

The prime cycling season in Mallorca spans from mid-February to mid-November, thanks to the island's mild Mediterranean climate. Mallorca's favorable weather allows for enjoyable cycling almost year-round. However, to avoid the cooler winter months, planning your Mallorca cycling trip within the mentioned span is advisable.

This tour met and exceeded our expectations. It was certainly challenging cycling for seniors but most of us did it all seven days. Scenery and culture of the islands was glorious. Guide and crew was superb!

Great holiday. Really easy to follow routes, good choice of hotels and the en route places to eat and visit was really helpful. Super responsive to questions during my holiday. Would definitely use them again.

We had an amazing trip overall! The route was well planned, although we did find it challenging to navigate through a couple of sections (e.g., mud in the forest after rain; single tire track through tall grasses). We were thinking that it might be a good idea to provide options to keep on more well-travelled pathways. Our only other suggestion would be to offer a couple of choices where you might want to spend the night. Most of the hotels were good and a couple were great but there were also a coupe we might have changed. As I said, it was an awesome trip; one that I would highly recommend! Beautiful countryside to cycle through!

My self-guided cycling holiday in Mallorca was the perfect way to experience this incredible island. The routes included stunning coastal roads, peaceful inland villages, and iconic climbs like Sa Calobra. The provided GPS and maps made navigating easy, and I appreciated the freedom to linger at scenic spots or enjoy a long lunch overlooking the sea. The accommodations were fantastic, and luggage transfers meant I could focus on the ride. This trip was everything I hoped for and more.

Self-guided cycling through Andalucia was an amazing adventure! The detailed route notes guided me through dramatic landscapes, past olive groves, and into whitewashed villages like Ronda. I loved the flexibility to explore Granada’s Alhambra and other cultural highlights at my own pace. The accommodations were authentic and welcoming, and knowing my luggage was always waiting for me made it stress-free. The mix of scenic routes and cultural immersion made this trip unforgettable—I’d highly recommend it to independent cyclists!
